Hello again, my little bookish dragonflies!  I hope you enjoyed another weekend of bookish revelries, holding the books of your dreams in your arms and they whisper sweet stories into your ears (or across the page, depending on the format).  What a wonderful bookish love affair!  ^_^

Alas, the 24 in 48 Hour Readathon has drifted away with a tide of countless books.  And while I’m sad it’s over, I’m happy I had a chance to participate in this bookish summertime fun!  I read sooo hard, I think my eyes need a vacation.

Greetings bookish dragonflies!  Hope your summer reading has cooler than mine (*raspy voice* it’s sooo hot!) and your reading is refreshing and sunny (or, at least, air conditioned).  Summer is an excellent time for beach reads and diving into all sorts of summertime fun. Hello again, my sweet little book munchers!  Hope you enjoyed an excellent weekend embracing your bookshelves and devouring their contents!  Mmm…affection and violent consumption. Sounds good to me. ^_^

Alas, the 24 in 48 Hour Readathon has come to an end.  (See my last post here). And though I’m sad it’s over, I’m also glad because…I made it!  I read sooo hard, and now I can give my poor eyes some much needed rest.  (And, yes, I think there might be smoke coming from my glasses lenses. *Sniff sniff* I smell polycarbonate.  Haha.)

Hope your summer reading has been excellent and your reading game is going strong.  And speaking of games…one of my favorite reading challenges has returned!  It’s time for the 24 in 48 Hour Readathon!  A nice cool way to dog ear it through our dog days.  Pun intended. (I know,  I know–I just couldn’t help myself.)

Well, I don’t know what it’s like where you are, but here it’s raining. In fact, it’s predicted to rain all weekend.  You know what I call that–reading weather.  (I guess you could say it’s “cloudy with a chance of reading”. Hahahaha…no?…ahem…sorry you had to read that.)

Stillllll… it’s the perfect time to join the latest 24 in 48 Hour Readathon.  Yay!
